Every Spring, it's a struggle to say farewell to our trusty black tights. However, one coping mechanism is to imagine all of the shoes we can wear sans tights and, with the influx of summer brogues, it's easy to find a pair that are guaranteed to put a spring in your step.

Marks and Spencer have 20% off their footwear this weekend, so what better time to go brogue! This cute blue pair would be fab with ankle grazer trousers or jeans and also come in cream. Niiiice!

ASOS stock a brand called London Rebel, who are great for their killer kicks. These nude heels will see us through the Summer with tea dresses and jeans alike. I've just bought these, so will update on Facebook to let you know how they get on!

These little white brogues are also too cute to leave behind, probably best to avoid jumping in puddles with these ones though, bet they're a divil to keep clean!

If you are thinking to invest, these silver brogues from the "Best of British" collection in Marks are for you. Even with a 20% discount this weekend it's fairly steep, however some say a good pair of brogues will last a lifetime. I'm not convinced, but they do look cool if you've got the cash!
