If Carlsberg did trainers...

HTML email (kfmyblog.blogspot.com)
It's hard to find a pair of trainers to be passionate about. Sure, a pair of New Balance with a dress is actually a perfect combo, but once you've seen one pair of runners, you've seen them all - until now. Imagine being allowed into a sneaker factory and the designers sat back and allowed you design your own pair. Well, the lovely people at Nike are doing just that and you do it all online so you won't need a golden ticket.
Nike ID give you a variety of blank sneaker templates to choose from and, from there you follow simple steps to choose the colours of every aspect of your shoe. Y ou can keep it subtle or go wild, the choice is yours.

I chose a pair of Nike Air Max 90 Premium as my blank canvas. My inspiration was Christian Bale's Batman meets Michelle Pfieffer's Catwoman! I spent about half an hour clicking different colours of swooshes, laces  and more - you can even choose the colour of the air bag that lives inside. Once I was happy with the design I clicked and waited patiently..... three weeks later the best runners of all time arrived at my door.
Nike ID customized Air Max 90s, €195
Not only are they actually CLASS, but they are really comfortable too. True - I probably won't be wearing them to cocktail hour but these bad boys will not be reserved for exercise only. My other half got a pair as well pictured below - just goes to show how different our tastes are!

Lacey White Dress

HTML email (kfmyblog.blogspot.com)
White dresses make me happy. That's really the long and sort of it. I know we are entering into the whole "pre-fall" thing but I'm one of those people who will never pack away the white. I can wear this now with these nude fringe sandals and later with my fav - a leather jacket and booties. Or I can just add a black floppy hat and red lace up heels in a few weeks for a touch of fall flavor.

My dress here (white is sold out but black is amazing!)

One Skirt, Two Looks

HTML email (kfmyblog.blogspot.com)

A couple months ago I ordered Kiyonna’s Uptown Faux Wrap Skirt in black and white, and I received it right before I went to the beach with my sister. When I say right before, I mean it. I brought the package unopened on the trip and figured I’d try them on at the beach. As soon as I put them on, I was so very impressed. Usually body-hugging skirts will be too-body-hugging for me to want to wear them, but it felt like this skirt was made for my body, and the fabric was both thick enough to lay nicely while also stretchy enough to conform to my shape. For this post, I went with more casual looks, but like most of Kiyonna’s clothing, this piece can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Rating of Kiyonna’s Uptown Faux Wrap Skirt: Two thumbs up! It is lined, and it hid my tucked in black tank top. The material is very comfortable, so sitting, standing, walking, etc. will not be an issue. I personally love the folds and lines of the faux wrap.

P.S. Kiyonna is celebrating turning 19 for the month of August. Get 25% off your order with the code CANDLES25. Code not valid on certain items (see their website for details).

How would you wear this skirt?

If you’ve worn it differently and have it up on instagram or a blog, link it in the comments :)

*I purchased this skirt on my own, but I am still part of Kiyonna’s Blogger Brigade, so you may or may not see these pictures on their website and social media. All opinions are my own.
